For Community, By Community
The Marshall Relief Alliance empowers individuals in crisis by uniting people, resources, and purpose to provide relief, nurture community cohesion, and promote a culture of resilience.
We envision a future where communities in crisis emerge stronger—through locally led responses that unite people, purpose, and resources. By combining emergency response with systemic solutions, we aim to transform disaster into opportunity—fostering communities where mutual aid, local wisdom, and regenerative practices build lasting safety, belonging, and hope.

Marshall Relief Alliance emerged from within our community as a response to the devastating impact of Hurricane Helene on our town, residents, and surrounding area. Recognizing the immediate and long-term needs in the wake of the storm, our local grassroots iniaitive was established to provide urgent relief and sustained recovery support to Marshall, NC and our neighbors.
Our mission is to support our community through every stage of recovery with the resources and support needed for a sustainable future and lasting resilience.
GRASSROOTS DISASTER RESPONSE SUPPORTING THE RECOVERY OF MARSHALL, NC AND OUR NEIGHBORS THROUGH THE AFTERMATH OF HURRICANE HELENE
Established for disaster response, our efforts are constantly evolving to meet the needs of our community as they arise. The volunteer family we found in Helene's wake continues to grow. Our work wouldn't be possible without the amazing team of volunteers, local and from afar. Our projects and programs are entirely community-led initiatives sustained by the hard work of our community members, volunteers and donations.
